Hello, I am 70 years old, no particular health problems (had a heart attack in 2013, had a stent put in, no other heart problems since), healthy weight, active - walking, biking, gardening, dancing, piano, volunteering. 3-4 months ago, I had a fairly sudden onset of pain in my right arm, located between my hand and elbow: I had difficulty lifting a pint of milk and squeezing an object in my hand. I rested my arm to allow it to recover, the pain subsided over the next few days and weeks but it doesn't seem to go away. When my arm is at rest, I don't feel anything, but as soon as I move it a momentary pain appears. I feel like I have sore ligaments.

Hello!
Although there are still a few aspects to be evaluated clinically, your pain seems at first glance to be musculoskeletal. Ligament damage would be unlikely, since you have no incidents to report
In short, I strongly recommend that you be evaluated by a physiotherapist. He/she will first try to alleviate your pain, and then when appropriate, should provide you with an exercise program specific to your condition
In the event that your condition is not within his or her field of expertise, it will be his or her responsibility to refer you to the most appropriate health professional for your condition, such as a physician
