Hello, I have a very sore throat up to the middle of my stomach, I have severe acid reflux, I have difficulty eating and swallowing. Just lying down or sleeping gives me some relief. What can I do to get better?

Bruising stomachs can often be relieved by taking antacids available at the pharmacy (e.g., tums, gaviscon). Some slightly stronger treatments are available for slightly more severe cases (e.g. ranitidine, pantoprazole). Some stronger treatments are available from your pharmacist with a prescription for 4 weeks.
To offer advice that applies more specifically to your situation, I would need some additional information.
  1. How long have you been experiencing these symptoms?
  2. Can you explain an event that may have caused the symptoms? (fatty or spicy meal, alcohol, lots of coffee, taking anti-inflammatory medication ex: Advil, Naproxen?)
  3. Is it worse after a meal? At night?
  4. Have you tried anything else to relieve your symptoms?
  5. Do you have any other symptoms? (fever, cough, diarrhea, vomiting, unexplained weight loss)
Happy day 🙂
