My 12 month old baby, I think she is constipated... she is having much less bowel movements and when she does it's little hard dry balls... I know you can give lac-a-d'au but I don't know how much to give my baby.
What is the amount of lax-a-day I can give my baby and if he has other products that I can give such as suppository? Thank you

Hello, thank you for your question!
Lax-A-Day (and other brands of PEG-3350) is given according to weight, at a rate of 1 gram of powder per kilogram of your child's weight, to be mixed in a small amount of any liquid and given to drink once a day as needed. For example, if your daughter weighs 10kg, we would give her 10 grams of powder.
The cap of the product indicates the adult dose, which is 17 grams. I suggest that if you have difficulty measuring the dose for your child, ask the pharmacist to help you: for example, he/she will weigh 10 grams of powder with the pharmacy scale, and will tell you what it represents.
I hope this has been helpful to you, and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
