Traditional" blood tests, i.e. those prescribed by a doctor, do not look for the presence of antidepressants in the body. However, there are very specific tests that can detect them, such as those used in drug testing. In this case, the length of time an antidepressant remains in your body and can be detected by such a test varies depending on the molecule you are taking and its elimination pattern. perfect thank you, at the moment since 29 oct.2019 I was taking riva-venlafaxine 75 mg for 14 drs- then since 13 nov I increased gradually 75mg + 37 mg for then next 26 nov.I will then be made 150 mg per day. thank you for your help!

Please. Please be aware that with venlafaxine, it will take 48 to 96 hours for the entire dose to be eliminated from the body, so the medication can be detected up to 4 days after the last capsule you take.
