Is Sertraline (Zoloft) the cause of my weight gain?

Hi, I have been taking sertraline 50 mg for 2 1/2 years now! It's going well, no side effects. The only thing, since last year I noticed that I gained weight and I was wondering if it was because of this medication...Also, if this medication can cause weight gain, would it be more difficult to lose weight afterwards? Because I spend a lot of energy every day and I eat relatively well without any results...Thanks!
