Good evening ma'am,
What was the reason you were prescribed this medication?

Hello,
this medication was prescribed to me on Wednesday (I started it on Thursday) for nausea that has been ongoing for 3 weeks. I was taking motilium before 2 x a day (prescribed in 2016 for involuntary vomiting after meals) but my reflux issue is resolved and it had no benefit for my nausea. Right now the metonia seems to have amplified my nausea a bit and makes me very sleepy is there anything I can try to lessen these side effects? (For the nausea there is no possibility that I am pregnant and I had a lithium test on Thursday to check if I could have any toxicity symptoms but everything is fine)

Thank you for those details.
These side effects are actually the result of multiple drug interactions. In your situation, adding Metonia™ in the presence of Wellbutrin™ causes the concentration of Metonia™ in your blood to be very very high. This is probably what causes drowsiness. Taking a much lower dose of Metonia™ might help with this.
Nausea, on the other hand, is caused by the addition of Metonia™ to Lithium and Wellbutrin™. This is called serotonin toxicity. Usually, the symptoms are more of the shaking, confusion, diarrhea and even fever type, but it's not impossible that at "low tones" it gives nausea. Note that this is possible even if your blood sugar is ok. Here, taking a smaller dose of Metonia™ might also help.
Bref, if you are not too bothered by these effects, I would recommend taking 5 mg of Metonia™ twice a day instead. If the effects are too severe, we'll stop completely.

Thank you so much for the quick response and detailed explanation it is much appreciated.
I will try 5mg twice a day today and if it doesn't get better I will call my FMG tomorrow to see with my family doctor if she has another option other than Metonia for my nausea.
Thanks again and have a great day!
