For 1 month, I have been taking Venlafaxine 75mg 24hr for my GAD. For 3 weeks, a vaginitis persists in spite of an oral solution + cream. What should I do?

Hello Ma'am,
It is unlikely (but not impossible) that this infection is caused by the recent introduction of venlafaxine. That said, regardless of the cause and may a "traditional" treatment is not sufficient, it is necessary to consult a doctor in my opinion.
A final option before this consultation is to replace the oral treatment with a cream or ovule treatment with the vaginal applicators for 7 days and the use of a cream to be applied to the vulva for these 7 days as well. It's worth a try in my opinion, as some women have a better level of effectiveness with these treatments than with taking a pill by mouth (and cream only on the vulva and not vaginally).
If nothing changes after these 7 days, we will consult a doctor.
Good evening,
