Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
Eat a healthy, balanced diet according to Canada's food guide, including lots of fruits and vegetables. Make sure your plate is very colorful.
Alternatively, taking folic acid at least 3 months before conceiving can help prevent neural tube defects. Your pharmacist.will be able to prescribe this according to your preferences.
Good stress management and adequate sleep are equally important.
Hopefully, I have been of assistance to you, and I remain available if you have any further questions!
Cordially,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist

thank you very much would a poor diet possibly be the cause of infertility?

I don't know if it's a direct cause, as it's often several factors working together, but a diet considered 'poor' certainly won't help.
