Vaginal itching after sex?

24-year-old womana year ago
Hi. I have a new sexual partner, the inside of my vagina itches the next day. I have been tested for its = result no its. What should I do? I have a whitish discharge and more frequent, I started again the contraceptive pill alysena 28. No condom. Is it possible that it is vaginitis/vaginosis? I don't have a different smell. When I scratch myself, it feels good. Is it possible that it's a hormonal imbalance, pH imbalance, etc. What can I do to get relief? What can I do to be comfortable?

Good morning, Mrs,
  • When did you first notice the symptoms?
  • Have you ever had these symptoms and treatment for them?
Thank you

I started to notice this kind of symptom today
exactly the same, no. However, when I google it, it looks a little like a yeast infection. I have taken a pill for vaginitis in the past which helped. However, I don't have a burning feeling on the outside or inside. Just internal itching. I waited a little while to urinate after my last sexual intercourse (yesterday). But 1h, not more. Could this be related?

Thank you for the information!
Unfortunately it is difficult to determine for sure if there is a link with the sexual relationship but it is possible!
Usually, if you have never had this kind of symptom, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
However, you could try a course of Canesten 6 (your pharmacist will be able to tell you which one and provide you with personalized information), but if there is no improvement after 3 days, you will need to see a doctor for a thorough evaluation of your condition and not to delay the right treatment, if any.
I hope I have been helpful to you and remain available if you have any further questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
