I have a spot in my right calf but I don't have a fever and it's not hot or red. Should I go to the emergency room for phlebitis?

Hello,
Do you have other symptoms such as pain and/or swelling?
Do you have a history of phlebitis or are you known to be at higher risk for phlebitis?
How long have you had these symptoms?

Hello, little pain (3/10) but only if I bend my knee or if I touch it with a little pressure... no pain if I walk or if I point my calf upwards. I have had this discomfort since yesterday (walking on Saturday with new shoes). You must know that I had a cesarean section 3 weeks ago, that's why I'm wondering about it as I was told that it can be frequent after an operation. My oral temperature was 35.8 yesterday and this morning.

Thank you for the clarification!
Since you walked the day before with new shoes, I suggest that you wait 24 to 48 hours before going to see a doctor, unless the symptoms get worse (increased pain, swelling, redness, discomfort). Since you are at greater risk of phlebitis, continue to monitor your condition. If your feeling of a stitch in your calf persists, do not hesitate to consult a physician

Thank you, I have another question also regarding my 3 week old baby. He always wakes up with a crusted eye with yellow/green or clear secretions like tears when he is not sleeping. Should we put some type of drops in his eye or should we wait for it to pass? At the moment I clean his eye about 3 times a day with a warm water washcloth only to remove the crust but I don't want the condition to get worse.

You can wait for this to pass for now. I recommend that you read this page from Birth and Growth https://naitreetgrandir.com/fr/sante/naitre-grandir-sante-enfant-yeux-colles-canal-lacrymal/. I think your question will be answered there!

You can put into practice the recommendations in the "Care and Practical Advice" section of the above page.
In addition, you can discuss this at your next follow-up with your baby's doctor. If necessary, he or she can prescribe drops or an antibiotic ointment
Have a good day,
