Can I take D-mannose, cranberry supplements and probiotics to prevent UTIs if I am trying to conceive or even if I am pregnant? The urologist advised me to take this, but the counselor at April couldn't answer me. Thank you!

Sorry for the delay in responding. I wanted to search several databases to provide you with the best possible answer. Please be aware that there is not enough data to recommend the use of D-Mannose in pregnant women. Although this product seems promising for the prevention of urinary tract infections, too few studies show that it is really effective for this problem. I therefore strongly suggest that you wait until the end of your pregnancy before trying it.

Also, know that cranberry juice is the best choice in the 3 supplements mentioned in your question (cranberry, probiotics, D-Mannose). It is important to know that cranberry juice can increase your blood sugar level, which is not to be overlooked in expectant mothers who suffer from gestational diabetes. There are also cranberry capsules that cause less of this side effect. Finally, in the study that showed the effectiveness of cranberry in pregnant women, the mothers-to-be took cranberry supplements 3 times a day.
