For the onset of anemia caused by heavy menstruation. I don't like the side effects of ferrous sulphate 300 mg and my dermatologist suggested another product without side effects without giving me the name

Hello,
It would be wrong to say that there is an iron product without any side effects. However, iron taken in tablets comes in several forms. You don't mention the side effects you have, but if they are digestive in nature (example: constipation or diarrhea, nausea, stomach irritation), it is true that the sulfate form of iron tends to cause more of them. In these cases, it is possible to try another form of iron such as ferrous fumarate or Feramax (iron complex)
Unfortunately, some side effects (e.g. black stools) cannot change no matter what form of iron is tried.
Also, if you have not already done so, there are other options to try. For example, taking the iron with food increases its tolerance. Also, reducing the dose or frequency (taken every other day) while trying to maximize its absorption (for example with vitamin C) is possible. I think all these options should be discussed with your pharmacist or physician
