I take Nexium for acid reflux. Before I was taking Pantoloc Is it possible that my new medication gives me: loss of appetite, feeling of stomach always full and always tired?

Hello!😀
Yes it is possible with Nexium to have these side effects! According to references, Pantoloc would not cause drowsiness so maybe that's why you feel more tired since the change! For the rest of the side effects, the incidence is similar for the 2 medications.
What was your reason for switching from Pantoloc to Nexium?
Thank you!

Hello and thank you for answering me
With pantoloc ,which I had been taking for 4 years the effect was not optimal ( sometimes I still had acid reflux, and I compensated with a Tum tablet ) so my doctor ,just before I left for Florida in January prescribed nexum 40 g effect effective at the level of my reflux but very unpleasant at the level of the other symptoms ( heartache, loss of appetite and bloating)
I tried to reach my doctor, but he is back to his office only in mid March
here in Florida many anti acid are over the counter, what else could I take
thanks

There is Dexilant (dexlansoprazole) which can be tried if symptoms are not completely resolved with pantoprazole for example.
There is also ranitidine which can be combined with what you are currently taking as it works in a different place and can be taken as needed (kind of like Tums but works for longer)
