Is it normal to be menstruating for only half a day with Alesse, even though I have been taking it for over 16 years?

I have been taking Alesse 28 for more than 16 years, I have never had a problem with my menstrual cycle. I have always menstruated for 3 to 4 days, with the same abundance. Last month, I menstruated only half a day with a very light flow. Is this normal? If this happens again next month, should I consult a doctor or wait longer?

Normally I am like clockwork. My periods last 3-4 days, evenly distributed. But last month I only menstruated for half a day with a very light flow. Is this normal or should I consult if it happens again next month?
thank you!

Good morning, ma'am,
Although the situation may seem unpleasant, it does not necessarily indicate a problem. In fact, taking Alesse can reduce the amount and duration of bleeding. Some people may not even experience any bleeding at all at times or permanently
I want to reassure you that this does not mean that Alesse is not right for you or that it does not work as well. Keep in mind that the bleeding period with Alesse is not a period but a withdrawal bleeding and is not necessary for your health or fertility.
I hope this was helpful to you, and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me!
