Sore throat for more than a week?

Hello, I have a feeling of always having a little something in my throat since about 8 days. I have some caseum that I moved myself on day 5, can it be related? I went to my doctor on day 7, she looked at my throat and I had no more caseum, what can I do? I took advils yesterday to see if it would help, but not really... I feel a little more pain on the right than on the left (when I moved the caseum it bled a little on that side) And also it hurts a bit when I swallow, (like a normal sore throat)! I also have a slight pain in my right ear.
