Despite the continuous bleeding, should I take a break from my pill or continue it?

Also, I take a birth control pill Tri-Cira 28 continuously without stopping. But, for about a month now, I have been having regular bleeding comparable to my menstruation or "spotting" and it doesn't stop. I have been told that I can continue to take it despite the bleeding because during my period I am really down in the dumps.

Hello, thank you for your question!
Some guides suggest stopping the contraceptive for 4 to 7 days if you are bleeding. You can also continue to take it continuously if you are willing to do so, ideally at the same time each day. Bleeding usually stops on its own
If the situation persists for more than 3 months or worsens, you will need to see your doctor to reassess your condition and needs.
Sincerely

Perfect, thank you, that answers my question. But, does it bother you to continue despite the bleeding?
