Hello, I have osteoarthritis and I have been taking Genacol Plus, which contains collagen and glucosamine, for two and a half months.

Hello Sir,
Besides Celebrex, are you taking any other medications?

I used to take Celebrex 100 mg 2 to 3 days and I stopped taking Tylenol for back pain. Now I only take Genacol. By the way, I have an allergy to Penicillin and aspirin. But at the pharmacy they did not allow me to take Genacol plus an anti-inflammatory

Thanks for the feedback!
If you have taken Celebrex in the past without problems, I don't see any issue with taking it even if you are taking Genacol
Have you ever had a history of gastric bleeding, ulcers, or irritation with any medication? Are you taking an anticoagulant? I believe that this would be the reason why you would have received this warning at the pharmacy.

No, I have not had any of these effects, except that they have that the effect of the two drugs will be increased because they consider that the glucosamine (in GenacolPlus) is an anti-inflammatory.

Although glucosamine may have anti-inflammatory properties, I have never seen the notion that anti-inflammatory drugs should be avoided with its use
