Is there an over the counter medication that could help with pain? Started ibuprofen last night.

Hello Ma'am,
I understand that the pain is new and that it came on as a result of a possible sprain, right?
In a case like this, cold can be applied first if the sprain has been occurring for less than 2 days, and hot if it has been occurring for 2 days or more. Then, since Tylenol™ is not enough, we will try using ibuprofen or Voltaren Emulgel™ to be applied to the knee in pain 2 to 3 times a day. Finally, we will try to gradually resume movement and exercise as tolerated.
With pleasure,
