I have celiac disease and for the past few months I have had migraines. Before my prescription was 0.025 and now 0.075 so I am wondering if it contains gluten and if not why? Thank you

According to a gluten-free drug reference site (http://www.glutenfreedrugs.com/list.htm), it is possible that some strengths of Synthroid may contain gluten.

In your case, a rather simple way to validate if the 0.075 mg is the source of your headaches would be to go back to 0.025 mg, but take 3 tablets a day. That way we could see if the new strength is the issue. Of course, I recommend that you discuss all of this with your pharmacist, who can agree with you on the best way to proceed.
