The mention of avoiding alcohol with Fluconazole (Diflucan) is a general recommendation that is listed for all patients and all types of treatments with this medication. This is because both alcohol and Fluconazole can theoretically lead to damage to your liver
For your situation, since you are young and the treatment is only once a week, if you do not have any health problems, moderate alcohol consumption (1 to 2 drinks on occasion) should not be a problem
