Hi, I am actually not familiar with the commercial formulations available in the US, so it will be important to look carefully at the medical ingredients... Dextrometorphan (for cough) and acetaminophen (for pain and cough) are safe, first generation antihistamines (runny nose): diphenidramine, chlorpheniramine as well as the expectorant guafenisin have not been shown to be problematic during pregnancy in studies. However, as a precaution, it would be good to avoid decongestants (pseudoephedrine and phenylephrine) as well as anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid) that may be included in syrups and whose use is more controversial during pregnancy .... I hope this helps a little, if you have any doubt or if there is an ingredient that I did not mention in the syrup you want to take, do not hesitate to contact me again, have a good evening
