I forgot to take my Effexor medication yesterday and I have a lot of side effects (dizziness, numbness). Of course, I took it normally today, but what do you advise me to do so that I can be functional today?

Good morning, Restarting your medication as usual this morning will probably have the effect of reducing the side effects you describe. You will probably see a decrease in these effects as the day progresses. You will find that it is mostly time that will do the trick. Happy day

If you ever forget to take a dose, I recommend that you take a dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, you can skip the missed dose and take the next one at the scheduled time. The important thing is that you NEVER double the dose of Effexor to make up for the missed dose; i.e., take 600mg instead of 300mg of Effexor.
