In the morning, I have white deposits on my lips (semi-liquid, semi-solid). The tongue is not enough to dislodge them, I have to remove them with my nails. I also have a pasty mouth. What is it and how can I fix it?

What is it or how to fix it? Details: This has only been happening for a week. I am being treated for sinusitis (I finished an antibiotic treatment 3-4 weeks ago, and have had a new one for 3 days). I have a normal, non-neglectful oral hygiene.

Does sinusitis cause you to have a stuffy nose? I have a feeling that your blocked nose forces you to breathe through your mouth at night. The white deposits are probably due to this phenomenon. It's also possible that the antibiotic you've been prescribed is drying out your mouth, which is helping to make the saliva that settles on your lips more solid.

Treat the sinusitis and everything should be fine.
