I have insomnia that I consider significant but not severe or chronic. What advice would you give me to alleviate or resolve it?

I am the type of person who remembers all the problems of the day in my head. I've been taking products like Neocitran or Tylenol Night for several years now to help me. But I want to get rid of all medication.

Hello Sir,
Very good idea to stop taking medication for insomnia.
Are you familiar with the Sleepio™ or CBT-i Coach apps for the smart phone? If you are comfortable with English, in my opinion, this is a relatively easy and well-made solution to greatly reduce insomnia.
In fact, the first guideline in insomnia in Quebec is not the use of medication, but rather techniques that are called "cognitive behavioral therapy (or CBT in English). The two applications mentioned above allow you to introduce such techniques into your daily life, which can make a big difference. For example, about 6 out of 10 users of the Sleepio™ app significantly improve their sleep scores without the use of pills (note that this app costs a few hundred dollars for a 12-week program, while CBT-i Coach is free).
Good evening, and especially good night!"
