Your symptoms look like a fungal infection (mycosis). Of course, as pharmacists, diagnosis is not part of our duties, so if this is your first episode, we sometimes recommend consulting a doctor to clarify the diagnosis. Given the difficulty of consulting, if you wish to take an over-the-counter treatment, you could try Canesten for 3 or 7 days, either as a cream or an ovule that is inserted into the vagina before bedtime. This is often accompanied by a Canesten cream that can be applied 2 to 4 times a day to soothe the symptoms. If you want to treat yourself this morning, you could also go to your pharmacist and ask for the CanesOral capsule that you can take by mouth and that should reduce 3/4 of the symptoms in 24 hours (while continuing to act for another 48 hours) in addition to the cream.
