Can Orilissa reduce muscle mass? Should I be concerned about osteoporosis?

I am taking the drug orillissa for my endometriosis and was wondering if I am at risk for premature osteoporosis. I am a 22 year old woman and was diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis during my laparoscopic surgery. I take calcium and multi vitamins for women

Hello Mrs, Are you receiving calcium and vitamin D supplements? Thanks for the feedback. Loss of muscle mass or weight is not reported by the manufacturer of Orilissa in its product monograph. Calcium and vitamin D supplementation is recommended with this medication. As the drug may exacerbate osteoporosis, monitoring of bone mineral density is recommended during treatment.
