Hello!
Regular or extra strength acetaminophen is safe during pregnancy.
The maximum daily dosage is the same as for adults which is 4000mg/day or 12 tablets of 325mg (regular) or 8 tablets of 500mg (extra strength). One to two tablets are recommended 4 times a day every 4 to 6 hours.
Beware of other formulations, for example Tylenol Backache, which may contain other ingredients.
On the other hand, it is recommended that the smallest effective dose of acetaminophen be taken in pregnant women over the shortest time possible. So if 1 tablet at a time gives you relief rather than 2, limit yourself to that and when your symptoms are resolved, discontinue the acetaminophen.

To answer your second question, there is no maximum number of days, it is only recommended to avoid long term use if possible.
