Is my ferritin level (301 ug/L) the cause of my plantar fasciitis and my two feet that turn blue when I sit for more than 5 minutes (poor circulation)?

Good morning, Madam,

Your question is more related to diagnostic research, which is the physician's specialty. As a pharmacist, my expertise is more related to medications. I believe that you should ask a physician to conduct the necessary tests to identify the cause of your ailment.

That being said, be aware that high ferritin levels can be caused by inflammation. So it may well be that your problems are not caused by too much iron, but that the ferritin level is "falsely" high because of inflammation in your body (plantar fasciitis).

Also, as for your medication, make sure you take enough calcium and vitamin D to potentiate the action of Actonel.
