Are there non-prescription products to reduce iron?

My ferritin level has increased but is in the range. I have 165 ug/L, maximum value being 200.
I am post-menopausal. I have been taking lutein and zeanthin supplements for my eyes for 1 year.
I also take vitamin supplements with 8 mg of iron. If I stop these supplements how long will it take to reduce the amount of iron in my body?

Hello Madam, thank you for your question!
Are you sure that it is the ferritin that is at this level and not the hemoglobin? Also, you mention that it is in the range, so why would you want to lower your iron?

It is ferritin. But I was always at 120 ug/L before, in one year I went up to 165 which is close to the maximum at 200 Ug / L, standards of the Biron lab. So I'm worried.

Thanks for the feedback. Fluctuations are normal and do not indicate a problem. The level is well within the limit. There is no iron chelator without a prescription
