I take Celebrex occasionally to reduce the pain of osteoarthritis in my hip.

It is not advisable to take Celebrex, an anti-inflammatory drug, and alcohol at the same time. This is because anti-inflammatory drugs and alcohol can cause irritation to the stomach.

That being said, Celebrex is probably the least bad anti-inflammatory in this respect. So moderate consumption of wine should not cause much of a problem. However, if you experience stomach symptoms when taking both simultaneously, it is possible that both the drug and the alcohol are involved.
