I have been trying for a few months with my partner for a baby. I was wondering if there is a product or dietary supplement that helps with fertilization or embryo implantation. Not a grandma's trick, but rather a product that has been tested and proven to work. Thank you!

There are no over-the-counter medications or dietary supplements that have been shown to increase fertility in men or women. However, certain lifestyle changes can have a certain positive effect on fertility. It should be noted that these changes will have a greater impact when made by the woman:

Quitting smoking (or moving away from second-hand smoke) is probably the most impactful change; Achieving or maintaining a healthy weight. Women who have a BMI less than 17 or greater than 27 may have more difficulty getting pregnant; For women who are very physically active (e.g., athletes), decreasing the intensity or duration of workouts may help regulate the menstrual cycle; Have less than 3 drinks of alcohol and coffee per day. Decreasing your spouse's alcohol intake may also have some impact on the likelihood of pregnancy when the man is a heavy drinker; Reduce stress. Although this is easier said than done, it could have a big impact on some people. Have sex regularly every 2 to 3 days. This allows for at least two effective sexual encounters, i.e. during the 6 fertile days of the menstrual cycle, and reduces the stress of having sex at the "best" time.

All of these changes are part of a "healthy" quality of life and will help you and your partner not only conceive, but also maintain good health!
