I think my daughter has chicken pox?

I think my daughter has chicken pox. She has a few pimples that have grown on her stomach and back, they look like bug bites and she says they sting. She had a swollen and runny eye, a pharmacist gave us some drops for the conjunctivitis and it seems to be less bad. Also, I just saw that we were not supposed to give Advil and we gave her some for the night. This time should not cause too much harm?

Hello, thank you for your question!
If it's chickenpox, nothing to do but control the symptoms: acetaminophen (Tylenol, Tempra and others), and Aveeno bath oats, among others
If a fever occurs, or if the condition worsens, you should consult a doctor.
I hope I've been helpful, please feel free to ask any questions you may have!
PS: a single exposure to Advil should not cause any problems, but as a precaution acetaminophen is preferred
