Hello, I was wondering if I could take multi-vitamins and estro-control on sale on the Victoria Kult website for my sport.

Hello!
I have checked the ingredients in these 2 products with the medications you named and the health problems reported:
First of all, I would not advise you to take these products. I have noticed a few problems:
1- Green tea in the multivitamin: The concentrations of green tea could be increased by the estrogens in Nuvaring and increase the risk of adverse effects associated with the caffeine in green tea (anxiety, tachycardia, arrhythmia, etc.). There is still a good dose of green tea in the multivitamin, which bothers me a little.
2- Several ingredients can cause gastrointestinal symptoms and I am afraid that this will affect your Crohn's disease
3- Estro elles: I am unable to see a complete list of ingredients which is a concern. I am not able to read all the components listed on the label on the product image. So I can't make a proper assessment. However, the fact that they mention that the product has an effect on estrogen does not reassure me, especially considering that you suffer from PCOS. I would not take this product.
Also, not all interactions and side effects are reported with such products as few studies are done. I also highly doubt the effectiveness and I think you may be spending money for nothing.
I would advise you to consult a kinesiologist if you want to improve your sports performance.
I hope that this will be useful to you!
Marie-Laurence Gauthier, pharmacist.
