Hello, I'm going to China soon and as there is a time difference of 12 hours more than us, my intention is as follows: departure Thursday early afternoon so no problem for taking the morning, we arrive China time Friday afternoon, my intention was to restart my medication on Saturday morning, day and time of China. And the following days I will follow the day and time of China Medication to return to the time and day of Montreal by returning so there is a 12 hours of not taking medication: 10 Methotrexates on Monday, 1Risedronate on Monday, 1 folic acid on Tuesday, Pantoprazole, Synthroid, in the morning and Pro Hydroxiquine 2 times a day Thank you.

Can you tell me the duration of the flight?

For the medications taken on Monday (methotrexate, risedronate) and those taken on Tuesday (folic acid) there doesn't seem to be a problem, as you will be arriving in China on Saturday. I imagine that your question is more about the daily medications, i.e. synthroid, pantoprazole and hydroxychoroquine

Regarding synthroid and pantoprazole, take them as you are currently taking them, i.e. every morning. A 12 hour difference will not affect the concentrations significantly. For hydroxychloroquine, make sure you take 1 tablet every 12 hours

Hello, the flight is 14 hours.

Take your synthroid and pantoprazole in Montreal local time (i.e. in pm in China) since it will be 24 hours since you took your dose of the morning. You will be able to take them the next morning, Saturday morning

Concerning the hydroxychloroquine, take it every 12 hours, so Thursday night on the plane (as you will have taken it in Montreal) and then 12 hours later, on Friday morning at Montreal time (which corresponds to pm at China time). You will then take the drug again on Saturday as usual. Since you are taking the medication 12 hours earlier, you will take one less dose
