Can a sunburn cause serious symptoms?

Hello, 2 days ago I got a sunburn and since then I have been experiencing nausea, vomiting, great fatigue, dizziness and a persistent headache. What should I do? Is there anything else that could be the cause?

Hello Mrs,
Sunburn can often be associated with heat stroke, which can present these symptoms: fatigue, nausea, dizziness, aches and pains, headaches, etc.
Before, during and after exposure to the sun, it is important to ensure proper hydration. This can often be overlooked and a good indicator is the color of your urine: dark colored and/or stronger smelling urine could indicate that you have not been drinking enough water.
Since the sunburn, would you be able to characterize your activity level?

It's true that I don't drink a lot of water due to my nausea... and I'm very tired and don't move around a lot

Thanks for the feedback!
I encourage you to stay well hydrated and eat properly over the next few days
While I encourage you to rest, I also encourage you to perform your normal activities according to your tolerance level.
