Allergy symptoms can indeed be varied and of different levels of severity.
Sometimes you don't respond as well to one antihistamine, and then you have to try another.
You may want to try Claritin or Aerius to see.
Your pharmacist may also recommend eye drops to relieve allergy symptoms, such as Opticrom (these drops are behind the pharmacist's counter).
Finally, depending on your symptoms, your pharmacist may also recommend a cortisone nasal spray, such as Flonase. This product could also help with ocular symptoms.
So in conclusion :) I recommend that you talk to your pharmacy!
