Hello. I have been prescribed Monazol cream for mycosis of the glans, but I have trouble decalcifying because of the infection and pain. Is this a problem when applying the cream? I am also very sensitive in this area, what do you recommend?

Hello Sir,
It is indeed important that the cream be in contact with the infected skin. Therefore, you should try to get the cream on that area as much as possible.
One way to do this is to create a small reservoir by pulling the foreskin forward and "injecting" the cream through the urinary meatus. Then just gently massage the skin over the glans to allow the cream to be more fluid and get into the areas to be treated.
To limit pain, it is best to take Tylenol or Advil (depending on your history) about 2-3 hours before manipulating the foreskin. You can also apply cold in the minutes before application for an additional analgesic effect.
Good luck,
